Wedding Invitation Ideas Inspired by Disney

​I am a Disney freak.
 
There, I said it.  I love all things Disney.
 
When a new Disney movie comes out, you can bet I’ll be sitting in the front row of the theater, devouring the Reese’s Pieces I “illegally” smuggled in.
 
I’ve thought about what household items I can sell (do I really need that food processor?) so that I can buy a plane ticket to check out Disneyland’s newest park in Shanghai.
 
To me, magic is synonymous with the Disney brand. As a company, they’ve captured the hearts of millions of devoted fans. When I see a television advertisement for a Disney theme park, movie, or event, I get excited. I mark it on my calendar. I count down the days before every Disney trip.
 
When I tried to think about how I could incorporate Disney into my  upcoming wedding, (and it’s clear others have as well – “Disney weddings” remains one of the most popular Pinterest searches) invitations immediately came to mind.
 
Invitations and save-the-date cards are one of the most essential parts of planning a wedding. They set the tone for what your guests should expect on your wedding day. For most of your guests, it’s also the first “glimpse” they receive into your wedding. Above all, invitations should create feelings of excitement and anticipation for your big day.
 
I want my guests to feel the same way about receiving my wedding invitation as I do when I finally get to eat a Mickey chocolate ice cream bar.   
 
Okay, perhaps that’s a bit presumptive on my part.
